Start A Group

Do you want to start your own group? Here’s what you need to do:

1. Find a no-cost or low cost venue
2. Have at least two members at launch date
3. Share skills, snacks and chats with crafters of all levels
4. Welcome beginners
5. Have fun!

If you would like to launch a group, please let me know. I’ll then add you as an author on the Brown Owls blog (so you can post meeting details, news etc!)

You can also start a Facebook page or group for your Owls, of course!

NB: It’s GREAT if you post all meetings here on this blog – so that everyone can see what’s going on. (i.e. not just on your group’s Facebook page/group)

    Hi there Pip,

Its Ann here again. This possibly has been the longest ‘we are going to start up’ process in the world, but its been a great process of collaboration. We are going to be applying for a few grants to get our Credo Brown Owls group going. We were wondering whether you would mind us using the Brown Owls name for our project name?

    Thanks Pip,

Still hoping to catch up with you at some stage to get some inspiration.

    Cheers again,
