A HUGE thank you to Bargain Box Fabrics in Mornington for hosting the 2nd meeting of Bayside Brown Owls last night! We all had a really great time and walked away feeling all inspired to create something fantastic to bring in next month!
The mini tutorial last night was ‘How to Make Granny Squares’ which (in all honesty) was probably a bit too ambitious for everyone who had never held a crochet hook before! However, in saying that, I have uploaded the tutorial in my ISSUU library if you want to download a copy and practice at home! I’ve also attached the link to the Crochet Pocket Guide that was created to help you all learn the difference between American and British crochet terminology so I hope you find it helpful. Just click on the image to the right.
Our next meeting will be on MONDAY 6th AUGUST back at Bagain Box Fabrics so make sure you stick it on your calendar and come along! As mentioned, if you have any ideas for future mini tutorials please make your suggestions on our Facebook page!
Please feel free to invite anyone along you know who might enjoy a night out with fellow crafters. There is no skill level or age restriction! Don’t forget to bring your craft along and PLEASE feel free to post photos on our facebook page of your latest projects so we can all ‘Ooooh’ and ‘Ahhhh!’
